AMETEK Land, Land Instruments International Ltd, are pleased to announce that with immediate effect the SPOT pyrometer range, including all variants, will be discontinued from new product sales and replaced by the new enhanced SPOT+ range. Please see the reference table below for a list of parts affected by the notification and replacements:
There is a direct SPOT+ replacement for every SPOT. SPOT+ pyrometers deliver the same high accuracy and core functionality as their SPOT counterparts, with additional features for Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) factory automation, IMAGEPro software compatibility, and upgraded components for improved reliability. Certain models of SPOT+ pyrometer have slightly extended measurement ranges. There is no change to the case or connectors, so all SPOT accessories – including the SPOT Actuator – can be used with a SPOT+ pyrometer.
AMETEK Land believes in supporting and partnering with our customers through the lifetime of our products. Whilst stopped from new product sales, SPOT pyrometers remain fully supported by our qualified field and factory service teams and internal technical support engineers.
