Speciality Glass
Speciality glass is a wide-ranging term encompassing glass with non-standard constituent materials, or glass that undergoes special treatment to make it suitable for a particular application. 

The production process for speciality glass has several points where temperature measurements are key. This includes thermal imaging of the melt tank, temperature measurements in the forehearth and monitoring the annealing process.
