AMETEK Land, Land Instruments International Ltd, formally announce that with immediate effect, the existing System4 RT8A and CDA thermometers will be discontinued from new product sales and replaced by new RT8B and CDB thermometers with new internal electronics.
Accuracy, noise and field of view are slightly improved in the new models. Otherwise, the form factor, general specification and operating instructions of the new models are identical to that of the existing instruments.

Existing RT8A and CDA thermometers will still be fully supported by our field and factory service teams and internal technical support. A selected range of spares will remain available from AMETEK Land and will continue to be supplied as standard items until 31st December 2024, or replaced by the new RT8B and CDB electronics if necessary.
Future sales for the discontinued items will be served by the new RT8B and CDB thermometers listed above.
