INDUSTRY-LEADING MEASUREMENTS
Built to operate in harsh environments from 20 °C (68 °F) to 1700 °C (3092 °F), the LAND LSP-HD infrared linescanner combines high-quality optics with unrivalled scan speeds to produce high-definition thermal images for outstanding process control. Its rugged design is made for continuous, real-world industrial use:
- High-temperature models feature industry-leading, fully focusable optics with 300 or 500:1 distance-to-spot-size.
- All LSP-HD scanners use rugged Sapphire protection windows that resist scratches, acids and solvents.
- Integrated laser alignment verification is standard, making set-up and checks straightforward.
HOW DOES SINGLE-CABLE POE INSTALLATION CUT COST AND COMPLEXITY?
Because integration is simple, installation costs are significantly reduced. A single Ethernet data connection runs straight from the sensor head, removing the need for a separate processor, and Power over Ethernet (PoE) technology means every electrical connection is made through just one Ethernet cable.
This Plug and Play approach uses industry-standard Ethernet cabling and connectivity, with various analogue and digital interfaces available. Many signal-processing capabilities are built directly into the scanner, so a separate PC is not required, and the LSP-HD can communicate digitally with other systems, including Siemens S7 PLCs and ibaPDA. Cooled and purged mountings with tool-free quick-release mechanisms make it fast to remove and re-install the scanner — without needing a plumber to disconnect any fittings.
IS THE LAND LSP-HD COMPATIBLE WITH EXISTING LAND LINESCANNER INSTALLATIONS?
Yes. The LSP-HD is Plug and Play compatible with LANDSCAN WCA software and fits all existing LANDSCAN infrared linescanner installations, making it easy to upgrade or replace older units. Its form factor is identical to its predecessor, so there is no need to change existing mounting hardware — a straightforward path to higher-definition scanning without re-engineering your setup.
MODELS AND INDUSTRIES
The LAND LSP-HD is available in a number of models, each optimised for a specific range of industrial applications — from continuous casters, hot strip and plate mills to annealing and galvanising lines, float glass, paper webs and rotary kilns. This makes it a versatile infrared line scanner for wide, continuous, moving surfaces across many processes.
The LSP-HD range is optimised for industries including:
