Lime

Lime
Lime is produced when limestone is heated in a kiln. This creates quicklime, which can be further processed to form hydrated lime. Lime production releases emissions which must be monitored.

To ensure regulatory compliance, this monitoring needs to take place at the kiln stack, as the combustion processes there generate the majority of particulate emissions.

AMETEK Land has supplied the minerals industry with temperature measurement equipment for decades. Our accurate, reliable products deliver high-performance results that help control combustion and reduce emissions.
