HIGHLY PORTABLE ACCURACY, BUILT TO LAST
Cyclops L is designed to function for extended periods in demanding environments. On-board data storage allows up to 9,999 measurement points to be recorded inside the thermometer, while a rugged instrument jacket protects the pyrometer against harsh conditions. Its durable, lightweight construction means you can keep working for hours at a time without fatigue.
HOW DOES THE LAND CYCLOPS L MAKE SINGLE-HANDED MEASUREMENT EASY?
The Cyclops L is designed for safe, single-handed use, which is ideal in hostile environments where you need a spare hand to steady yourself. Its high-resolution lens sighting and ergonomic one-handed design make taking accurate readings straightforward:
- Look through the eyepiece and focus the lens on the target — high-quality Through the Lens (TTL) sighting shows exactly what you are measuring.
- A small graticule within the view precisely defines the area being measured.
- Pull the trigger to take the reading, and switch between four modes for data-logging.
- Readings appear in the eyepiece and simultaneously on a second display panel on the side, so a colleague standing next to you can also view them.
Wireless Bluetooth data transmission further enhances everyday operation of the handheld pyrometer.
WHAT IS ROUTE MANAGEMENT AND WHY DOES IT MATTER?
Route management makes the Cyclops L ideal for regular monitoring of sites with multiple measurement locations and for verifying the readings of permanently installed pyrometers. Using the free Cyclops Logger software, you can build configurable measurement routes for your process and upload them to your thermometer. Pre-configured settings — including emissivity and window correction — can be stored for each measurement location, so every reading is taken with the right parameters.
DATA LOGGING AND CYCLOPS LOGGER SOFTWARE
With four trigger-controlled data-logging modes, the LAND Cyclops L stores up to 9,999 readings internally. Recorded data can then be transferred via Bluetooth or USB to a PC running the free Cyclops Logger software, where you can view and analyse your temperature readings.
