NEW AUTO POUR PYROMETER SYSTEM
The Auto Pour Pyrometer System is specially designed to accurately measure liquid metal temperatures during pouring into moulds and castings without disruption to the process. Using a non-contact measurement that does not interrupt the casting process, it delivers one accurate, repeatable value, measured and calculated for each pouring. This data helps reduce operating costs while improving casting quality.

NEW THERMAL IMAGERS – NIR-B-2K & NIR-B-640
The NIR-B-2K provides a cutting-edge thermal image with an outstanding definition of nearly 3 million pixels (1968 x 1472), unaffected by the hot atmosphere and gases of the furnace, and allows operators to measure from any of three full radiometric-calibrated megapixels, providing data to optimise furnace temperature. This helps to save energy, increase efficiency and reduce emissions.
The NIR-B-640 is a short wavelength radiometric infrared borescope imaging camera for continuous temperature measurement in furnace applications with a higher differential temperature in the field of view. It utilises the latest wide dynamic range imaging technology, providing the highest available temperature reading accuracy over the entire wide temperature range, for accurate, continuous temperature profiling of the furnace and stock.

We are celebrating securing two certifications to ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management Systems and ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems standards.
We started working towards achieving the new certifications 12 months ago, as they complement the company’s current ISO 9001:2015 Quality Manager Systems standard and would put it in a stronger position when tendering for international contracts.

Critical Measurements in Cement Manufacture
Portland cement is an essential ingredient for the construction industry, used to make concrete and mortar. There are more than 2,300 active cement plants around the world producing over 3.9 billion tonnes per year. They produce cement by heating crushed limestone and other ingredients in a rotary kiln to produce clinker which is milled to a fine powder to manufacture the finished product. READ MORE >
