The standard courses available coincide with the activities of Land as a business and cover Theory, Application and Service:
An Introduction to Infrared Theory
Basic Infrared Theory and Application of Infrared Thermometers.This training course is suitable for newcomers to the field of temperature measurement by infrared. The course covers infrared theory, fixed, on-line and portable thermometer products and applications.
An Introduction to Process Imaging
An Introduction to Land Process Imaging Systems.This course is aimed at end users, distributors and re-sellers of LAND™s range of products. Attendees have ranged from instrumentation engineers, energy managers, service engineers, line managers and process engineers to buyers, system specifiers, OEM project leaders and industrial laboratory managers.
Service Training
Service, Repair and Calibration of Land Infrared Thermometers.This course covers training in the servicing and repair of Land's range of Infrared Instrumentation.All Land's products are calibrated to internationally recognised standards during manufacture. Land also supplies a full range of temperature calibration sources, which are used to verify or re-establish the calibration accuracy of products in the field. Training in the recalibration of Land's range of products by customers who have their own calibration facility is available.
